Contact and address details; enquiries, bookings, quotes, invoices and payments; property measurements, messages, photos and videos; access and service history; and necessary technical data.
Why and legal bases
We respond to enquiries, quote, perform contracts, take payment, keep safety and quality records, handle guarantees and complaints, meet legal/accounting duties and protect our services. Bases usually include pre-contract steps, contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent where required.
Sharing
Necessary information may go to trusted hosting, communication, payment, accounting, adviser, insurer, subcontractor or specialist providers, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
General enquiries: normally up to 24 months. Contract, invoice and accounting records: up to 7 years. Job and guarantee photos: up to 6 years where needed for claims. We may keep data longer when law or a dispute requires it and delete sooner when no longer needed.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards. Some providers may process outside the UK under an applicable legal safeguard. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability and withdraw consent. Contact us. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Photos and sensitive data
Avoid including people in property photos and do not send medical records through booking. If health or child information is volunteered, we limit use to what is necessary and lawful.
